Geography Located in South East Africa. Dominated the Zambezi River Valley. Many grasslands in this area.

Great Zimbabwe was monarchy. Great Zimbabwe had 9 Queens at once, and each had there own court. The King lived in a large court.

Great Zimbabwe religion was called the Shaonn. Great Zimbabwe was considered a important religious shrine until the 19 century.

Great Zimbabwe part of the trade network. Made commercial links in Great Zimbabwe.

The first of the centralized states. It dominated the Zambezi valley. It was rich in gold.

Great Zimbabwe rose because of its location on the river let it have good trade routes. It became more wealthy because of all the gold that was found there. And it was a religious center which more people would come and visit.
