Establishing home

Changing your Default Home Page Go to the menu bar and select Tools Drop down and select Internet Options You will see this page:

Type in the homepage you choose into the address bar, highlighted in yellow Your homepage can be any web page out there. If you change your mind you can come back and change it again.

Hyperlinks A hyperlink is either a URL, a word or set of words, usually underlined and in a contrasting color from the rest of the text. Ex. Click Here When you click on a link you are connected to another website. You can return to where you were by using the back button.

What is a URL? URL stands for Uniform Resource Locator A URL is also called a web address. If you know the web address, you can re-frequent any page you find on the Internet.

The URL and the Address Bar The address highlighted above in the Address Bar is the same as the typing:
