To achieve this you are expected to Gain an understanding of the domain Understand the various sources of data, their frequencies and their attributes including limitations Understand the framework of analysis used at CMIE for your domain, including the various data presentations Understand the framework for making a set of forecasts for your domain Analyse the data / data presentations and news in the light of your understanding of the domain Take the calls necessary to make forecasts in tandem with the calls made by other relevant domains and generate your set of forecasts Write your report in simple but lucid and effective English within the assigned time-frame.

Compensation to Analysts at CMIE Compensation is a function of your abilities and usefulness to the organisation. The growth in compensation is essentially a function of your performance and the change in your abilities to contribute to the growth of the organisation. The annual cost-to-company for an analyst at CMIE has a wide range from Rs. 3 to 12 lakh per annum. Our offer to you would depend upon our judgment of your abilities and your fit in CMIE.
