 We speak of “putting on Christ” at the point of conversion: Gal. 3:26-27  Phrase taken from Greek “to sink into (clothing), put on, clothe one’s self” (Thayer); “for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ” (NIV).  The word “for” ties v. 27 to v. 26 and explains v. 26.  When we “put on Christ” we become “new creatures” : 2 Cor. 5:17; Col. 3:9-10; Rom. 6:3-7; Eph. 4:21-24; Gal. 6:15  Its all about displaying the attributes of Christ in our life: 2 Pet. 1:3-10; Rom. 8:29; 1 Pet. 2:21-22  Christians are to think and act differently!
