Introduction to the NSW Premier’s Student Volunteering Awards program

What is Volunteering?... an activity that: adds value to the community or another person in the community is of your own free will is unpaid

Why Volunteer? positive involvement in your own community develop an understanding of others build your own knowledge, skills and direction demonstrate your character

NSW Premier’s Student Volunteering Awards at least 20 hours through Years 9 and 10 different levels – bronze  diamond recognition of activities both within and outside school

What is and what isn’t volunteering?
