SENIOR COUNSELING CONNECTION > Upcoming SAT/ACT Dates SAT Test Date/Registration Deadline ---Jan. 23/Dec. 28 (WFHS, NFHS) ACT Test Date/Registration Deadline ---Feb. 6/Jan. 8 (WFHS, NF, SF, Kings Ridge) Holiday Edition – Dec 2015 Follow WFHS on Remind your parents to sign up for the WFHS PTO so that you can be eligible for their scholarships! Parents need to sign up by December 18 th, and the scholarship deadline in March 26 th, Have your parents got to Upcoming App Deadlines January 15, 2016 (If deferred, remember to do Part II of the UGA App) January 10, 2016 February 1, 2016 (Priority Deadline) March 1, 2016 Rolling Admissions (Final Deadline – May 6, 2016) Rolling Admissions (Final Deadline- July 1, 2016 based on space available; apply early!) Blue Book Career Pathway Information There are 4 Different Pathway Options: Career Tech Agricultural Education Pathway Fine Arts Pathway Advanced Academic Pathway World Language Pathway Levels of Completion: Seal of Completion Seal of Distinction Pathway Scholar Medallion **The completions forms are due during the month of April and can be found on the West Forsyth Counseling website**  SCHOLARSHIP CORNER: Free Money For College! Scholarship listings will be available and updated regularly on the WFHS counseling webpage! Check out these websites as well: TIME MANAGEMENT TIPS & TRICKS IMPORTANT! Please remember to allow at least two weeks for processing all requests (transcripts, recommendations, etc.) that come through the counseling office.

Senior Dues: $120 Increases to $145 after Jan. 1 Dues include cap, gown, diploma, diploma cover, tassel, facility, Senior breakfast, Senior Gift, and Senior baccalaureate *Payments can be made at January 1 – Orders MUST be placed online from this date forward Don’t forget the Transcript Request Procedure! Please visit to request & pay for your transcript. Each transcript request is $4. For students that are requesting transcripts to out of state schools & SCAD, you must submit payment through then pick up a 9x12 envelope with 3 stamps addressed to the college’s admissions office. Turn in envelopes and any paperwork to the Registrar, Ms. Upchurch, in the counseling suite. Your counselor will submit Common App transcripts after payment is received. For questions regarding all other transcript inquires, please contact Ms. Upchurch at Class of 2016 Senior Sponsor: Jenny Gilmore( ext Mid-Year Report Request Process: The counseling office will automatically send the mid- year report to any schools on the CommonApp. For UGA, if you have been deferred from early action to regular decision, we will send an updated transcript & semester grade report. For any other school needing a mid-year report, please fill out a Mid-Year Report request form located on the counseling website under class of 2016 & in the Counseling Office. Turn this form in to Mrs. Jordan in Counseling. Upcoming College Visits Jan. 13- Johnson & Wales Jan. 16- U.S. Army Recruiter Jan. 20- University of North Georgia Visiting a potential college ?
