Presentation transcript:

Hello. I am a Year 7 Student from William Light R-12 School and I am here to represent the enterprise project my class have recently been working on.

As a class we have decided that we need the above skills to succeed in our enterprise venture.

Before we began our venture we sent Oakbank students letters to establish when we were coming and what we were to do there. We agreed that we would be planting trees.

At Oakbank we planted trees on National Tree Planting day at a reserve near Oakbank Area School so they could propagate the seedlings for us.

We communicated with Oakbank students via telephone, and digital photography.

Oakbank students will care for our plants until they are ready to be sold.

We will sell our herbs and flowers at the local Trash ‘n’ Treasure and in the local school community.

The profits we make from selling our plants will go towards a two night camp where the Oakbank students will come to our school where they will come and stay in our new gymnasium overnight.

When the Oakbank students come to Adelaide we will show them the sites to see in our city environment.

We feel this experience will give us a better understanding of what it is like to be in the business world.

We also feel that this venture will give us much better money handling skills for the future.

In this enterprise venture we have used and will need all these skills to succeed.

We will need all of the skills that have been mentioned as we are kids growing in this fast developing world.

In return we would like to stay at Oakbank and ask them a few questions like...

What do they do on the weekend. Do they go to the movies. …Kick the footy around Or just hang out at the mall

As a result we would like to gain a strong relationship with our buddies.

We hope as the years go by we hope that other classes will follow our lead and create an enterprise with Oakbank.
