Thesis This is central. It’s also quite sophisticated in its tone—textbook authors usually present the best work they see, but pretend it’s merely typical—it has way too much of the author’s opinions in the first person, there are only seven sources for 20 pages, and (therefore) some sources are relied on too much. ] 6
