What is the definition of GOVERNMENT? An institution through which a society makes and enforces its public policies/LAWS

Do we need GOVERNMENT in our lives? If yes, why? If no, why not?

How does our government affect your life??? TAXES you pay, minimum wage, school funding *Standard Time or Daylight Savings Time *When you drive a car, you had to get a license. *When you stop at a stop sign *Roads you drive on *Speed limits you follow *Mail delivered to your house *What you eat at school *When you flush a toilet, or run water (City) *All food that is processed is inspected *Laws you follow

America is a great place to live! The First Amendment to the Constitution states: Freedom of Speech, Press, Religion, Right to Assemble Peacefully & Petition the Government Do you have all of these rights in China? Cuba? Russia?
