1892 Ezra Fitch buys into the company Abercrombie & Co. becomes Abercrombie & Fitch David Abercrombie founds Abercrombie & Co. in New York Abercrombie & Fitch introduces it’s first 9 abercrombie stores Abercrombie & Fitch becomes a fully independent company, trading under the name ANF on NYSE A&F HISTORY 2000 First Hollister Co. store opened at Easton Town Center in Columbus. Hollister Co. currently operates over 500 stores 1998 Abercrombie & Fitch opens first international flagship in London 2008 Gilly Hicks is launched, two Hollister stores open in the UK; Blue Water and Brent Cross Today We currently operate in 6 countries worldwide and have continued expansion planned for 2010!

EXPANSION Within the last decade, we have seen tremendous growth at A&F. With the successful launches of abercrombie, Hollister Co., and Gilly Hicks we have increased our customer base. With new stores opening on different continents, our international growth is just beginning!
