 What is post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)?  Why is PTSD important to cure?  What can be done to help this disease?

DEFINITION OF PTSD:SYMPTOMS: Post Traumatic Stress Disorder is a debilitating condition that often follows a terrifying physical or emotional event causing the person who survived the event to have persistent, frightening thoughts and memories, or flashbacks, of the ordeal.  Flashbacks  Bad dreams  Guilt  Depression  Easily Startled  Angry Outbursts  Emotionally numb It is treatable.

Victims can become suicidal. It can have long term effect if ignored. Our military put their lives on the line for us everyday. It is important we provide any help we possibly can.

 Knowledge about the subject is key. Get educated about the topic.  Admitting you have a problem and seek help.  Get treated! There is medication, therapy, and many other options that are used by doctors, therapists, and clinical psychologists in helping to be treated.

 What is Post Traumatic Stress Disorder?  Why is it important to cure this disease?  What can be done to help this disease?
