Onboarding VISTA members and Sub-Site Supervisors By the end of this session, you will be able to:  Articulate the importance of VISTA members respectfully engaging with the different cultures of the community  Identify and implement strategies to ensure that VISTA members successfully enter the different cultures of the community  Describe actions supervisors can take to facilitate growing the cultural awareness and effectiveness of their VISTA members 3

Onboarding VISTA members and Sub-Site Supervisors By the end of this session, you will be able to:  Distinguish between the training roles and responsibilities of the intermediary organization, CNCS, and sites  Identify effective On-Site Orientation and Training (OSOT) strategies and develop a draft OSOT for your VISTA members  Identify effective orientation strategies for training sub-site supervisors and develop a draft orientation agenda 4
