 Where a wide variety of department and specialty stores (sell one type of good-electronics or CDs or clothes, etc., are located in one building.

 Industrial land use is the heart of a city.  Since they need large amounts of land they are usually found at the edge or outskirts of the city. Industrial land use includes much more than big polluting factories.
