 To evaluate corneal parameters in keratoconic eyes using Pentacam Scheimpflug analyzer.

 Case-control study in 100 eyes  66 normal eyes  34 keratoconic eyes  Keratoconus diagnosis made using Scheimpflug analyzer (Pentacam)  Evaluation of  Corneal pachymetry in the central and thinnest point  vertex position  asphericity  Central, 4mm superior and inferior dioptrical power  Anterior and posterior elevation Central, 4mm superior and inferior  Statistical evaluation done with SPSS 15

 There is a high difference on each of the corneal parameter evaluated with Pentacam between normal and keratoconic eyes.  With a significant difference on the elevation maps both anterior and posterior.  Corneal vertex dispersion was significantly higher in keratoconic eyes.
