Earth’s Water
Water Cycle- regular movement of water.
Evaporation- Changing of liquid water into vapor, or gas. Condensation- process of excess water vapor changing into liquid water when warm air cools. Precipitation- Moister that falls to the earth as rain, sleet, hail, or snow.
Desalination- The removal of salt from seawater to make it usable for drinking and farming.
Groundwater- freshwater which lies beneath the earth’s surface. Aquifer- Underground porous rock layer often saturated with water in the form of streams.
