Make-Up for Previews (Lectures 1 and 2) Lecture Tuesday, August 31 Room BU219 7:00 p.m. & Friday, September 3 Room BU109 8:00 a.m. Lecture Thursday, September 2 Room BU219 7:00 p.m. & Friday, September 3 Room BU109 9:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.

Weekly Events You will have the option to attend: Tuesday and Thursday lectures during the daytime (for 7 sessions, POOPs will replace lecture times) Tuesday and Thursday make-up lectures in the evening Lab Counseling Session in the evening (yours is every other week) (projects are submitted during your Lab Counseling Session) Discussion Session (Advantage Session) - beginning September 6 (Every evening at 7:00, Monday through Thursday)

POOP Sessions You may attend more than one Professional Opportunities Orientation Program (POOP sessions) in one day, but you MUST attend one of them at your regularly scheduled time in order to get attendance credits.

Submitting Projects Attach a completed event card with a paper clip. Please do not staple! Bring a copy of your project to lab for grading. Only bring project(s) which are due that particular week. Credit will not be given for late projects.

Resume - Project #1 For Project #1 credit points and to be included in the Resume Books, resumes must be submitted onto the BPO website by 4:00, this Friday, September 3

Counseling Lab Session For this week ONLY, you meet at the time and room assigned to you by the Registrar. This week, you will select an evening and time slot for your lab sessions, and be assigned to Group A or Group B. You will only attend lab every other week, depending upon whether you are in Group A or Group B.

Lab Sessions If you miss your lab session this week, you will need to come to the BPO waiting room this Friday from 1:00 to 5:00 to sign up for a lab time and Group A or Group B. To receive attendance credit and to have a wider range of times from which to select, attend at your scheduled time this week.

Discussion Sections (Advantage Sessions) There are no Discussion Sections this week. Read pages in the X420 Syllabus. You are not limited to the room and evening scheduled by the Registrar. You may choose the topic of interest to you.

Discussion Sections Remember, Discussion sessions do not begin until next week, September 6. Discussions are called “Advantage Sessions” See last two pages in the Syllabus for the listing of topics and room numbers
