Adopt an Element INTRODUCTION 2 Let's put your knowledge to the test and see how resourceful you can be. You will adopt an element found on the periodic table and conduct research to create an “All About Me” PowerPoint presentation. Your PowerPoint presentation will then be presented in class to help others learn more about your adopted element.

Adopt an Element OBJECTIVES 3 You will study the periodic table and identify an element you would like to learn more about. You will determine its grouping, period, atomic number, atomic mass and other pertinent information that helps you identify the element. You will determine its properties and practical uses. You will discover some fun facts about your element. Your will assemble a PowerPoint presentation on your element. You will present your inquiry to the class when completed.

Adopt An Element TASK 4 Choose an element that you know little about from the periodic table.  Choose from the first 20 elements on the periodic table.  You are not allowed to choose the following elements:  Oxygen, Carbon, Hydrogen Create a PowerPoint presentation that will inform others about your adopted element using the guidelines provided within the web quest.
