 My name is Josie and my animal is a coyote. I chose a coyote because I like it when it changes color in the seasons.

CCoyotes can live between years. My animal is a mammal. A desert coyote weighs about 15 to 20 pounds.

 A coyote has grayish brownish and yellowish. A coyote can run with It’s tale down.

 Coyotes naturally eat meat, birds and reptiles. Coyotes mostly live in North America and Los Angels. Coyotes can eat anything they can find.

 The thick fur of the coyote helps it keep it warm throw out the winter. The camouflage helps it blend into the grass, rock but mostly trees and snow.

 Coyotes enemy’s are eagles, bears, mountain lions, wolves, lynx and humans. Coyotes are called Cain's Intrans.

 Coyotes are endangered by humans and red foxes because in the woods the animal's at night come out and attack and bite

 This was a great way to learn about coyotes.

Coyotes dig holes for sleeping and for giving birth to their babies a coyote can run 40 miles per hour.

 Their fur changes color over the seasons it can turn reddish brownish. They like to stay in groups of 2 or 3 together.

Baby coyotes like to stay close to their mother coyotes also like to hide in the woods with their mother.
