How?  What is the Identity Property for multiplication?  Any factor multiplied by 1 will give you the same product as the factor.  1 x 4 = 4 2/23/3 4/4

How?  If I multiply 4/6 by 2/2 does it follow the Identity Property of Multiplication?

Equivalent Fractions! 4/6 x 2/2 = 8/12

Try it 6 x2 = 12 9 x2 = 18 You can use division to go the other way…… 32 8 = = 5
