Beavercreek Rotary Paul Harris Fellowship Award Program Purpose u Increase Participation in Beavercreek Rotary Projects u Reward the Membership for their Service u Encourage Participation in the Rotary Foundation

Beavercreek Rotary Paul Harris Fellowship Award Program Benefits u Provides a Better Method to Allocate Funds to the Paul Harris Foundation u Helps Members Purchase Paul Harris Fellowships u Little Additional Work is Required u Program Does Not Replace or Modify the Sustaining Membership Program or any other Program

Beavercreek Rotary Paul Harris Fellowship Award Program Management u Executive Board has Management Responsibility for the Program u Treasurer Will Track the Individual Accounts u Secretary Will Provide Certain Information to the Treasurer u Project Leads Will be Responsible for Accounting and Reporting of the PHFAD

Beavercreek Rotary Paul Harris Fellowship Award Program Restrictions u PHFADs (Paul Harris Fellowship Award Dollars) u Are Good Only for the Purchase of a Paul Harris Fellowship u Are Non-Transferable u You Must Match with a Contribution of at Least $500 to Obtain Your PHF u Awards Made on the Completion of the Task

Beavercreek Rotary Paul Harris Fellowship Award Program Example Scenario u Let’s say the programs has been in place for two years u I was the Treasurer for Those Two Years $200 PHFADs u Work the Pop Corn Festival Two Shifts$ 10 PHFADs u Trash Pick Up 8 times$ 40 PHFADs u I have Now accumulated $250 PHAFDs u I Have Also Been Contributing $25 Per Quarter to Paul Harris Sustaining membership$ 200 u Now Decide I Would Like a Paul Harris Fellowship Honoring My Wife (I have one & she deserves it) u I Get the Form from the Secretary, Fill it Out Add a Check for $550. Return it to the Secretary u The Treasurer then add $450 and Mails to Rotary International

Beavercreek Rotary Paul Harris Fellowship Award Program Summary & Question u Paul Harris Fellowship Award Dollars (PHFAD) are Awarded to Members to be used for the Purchase of Paul Harris Fellowships u Awards are Given for Services Preformed u Award Level Based on Club’s Priorities u Award Level Falls within Club’s Budget
