What is an effective Rotary Club Can sustain or increase its membership base Implements successful projects that address the needs of its community and the world community Supports the the Rotary Foundation through program participation and financial contributions Develops leaders capable of serving Rotary beyond the club level

Five Point Plan Hold good meetings Have a minimum of four projects each year Have a minimum of four social events each year PUBLICIZE what the club does Create a Board of Directors with continuity

Membership Knowledge Who is eligible to be a member –Adult persons of good character and good business and professional reputation Engaged as a proprietor, partner, corporate officer or manager of any worthy and recognized business or profession Hold an important position and have executive capacity with discretionary authority Have retired from such a position

Membership Knowledge What is a classification –Describes the principal and recognized activity of the firm, company or institution with which the member is connected –Or describes the member’s principal and recognized business or professional activity
