How We Use the Grants Database In the first stage of the process: Enter data from applications Produce staff report 1- summary of all applications Allocate individual applications to appropriate staff with score sheet outlining assessment criteria Enter scores and comments in database Produce staff report 2 – applications ranked from 100% - 1%
How We Use the Grants Database The second phase… Staff briefing to discuss recommended and not recommended. Produce staff report 3 – revised ranking scores Staff briefing to finalise staff recommendations Provide reports and applications to Community Grants Assessment Panel for final assessment Produce report for the panel
How We Use the Grants Database In the third phase… Liaise with Director of Community Development about the assessment process and staff/ assessment panel recommendations In the fourth phase… Briefing and discussion with Balwyn Rotary about staff/ assessment panel recommendations In the final phase… Present all information before Councillors at Council Briefing and Discussion Council endorsement of recommendations
