Garfield’s Constitutional Convention Day 2 Synthesizing Classroom Rules

Sixth grade representatives discuss what common rules for their grade level will be. Ms. S listens to the discussion.

Sixth graders considered different points of view before recording Sixth Grade Rules.

Ms. Dougherty checks in with some of the third grade representatives as they combine and refine rules from both third grade classrooms.

Two fourth grade representatives work with Ms. Ledebur, a member of the Rotary Club of Springfield.

Fourth graders record their common grade level rules.

The three sets of rules from all the second grade classrooms were combined to make one set of grade level rules.

Second grade representatives sign and decorate the common grade level rules.

Third grade representatives record their common grade level rules.
