What do you think of when I mention the word “MIME”??

What many people think! This is what many people think of. Acting performance Man w/ silly hat Red nose

Kind of..But NO! The art form of mime can be revealed in many different ways and forms. Mime relies on symbols and silence. Mime can be used to entertain, to teach, and to inspire. Portrays Characteristics by using gestures, body movement, and symbols & silence.

Definition Mime is an art that can expresses different messages. Mime is more than make up and facial expressions; it is a didactic art form that both inspires and entertain.

History of Mime Mime started as a sign language Mime is considered one of the earliest forms of self- expression.

Classical ballet Classical ballet is used to entertain in silence, and using body language. Classical ballet can pertain to tell a story, or be a soft entertainment with a melody paced like a turtle. Classical Ballet is a art form of mime.
