Reflextions How can metropoles develop and anchor an innovative approach politically/strategically – not only technologically but in all dimensions/sectors of society? Will metropoles have the capacity to challenge dynamic interactions between commercial opportunities, academics and financial means? Will metropoles be a driver of excellent innovate performance? How does one avoid the more traditional one dimensional/linear/ top-down concepts (as they do not support facilitation and relation building - processes)? Can metropoles facilitate pluralism and multi-dimensional thinking (precondition: Bottom-up processes)? Will metropoles be able to capture cross-national potentials? Prerequisite is a proactive approach.
