Introduction What is a spread sheet? A spread sheet is a programme used to organising data. It is also referred as a ‘big calculator’. A vast amount of jobs use spread sheets for various purposes. For example: Teachers use spread sheets to organise the results of their pupils.
Rows and columns Rows are horizontal and in the cell reference, they are the part with the numbers. For example in the cell reference A4, 4 is the reference of the row.
