IEMAST Summer School for master students at UPC IEMAST Summer School was organized during the June 9-21, 2014, at the UPC Barcelona-Tech, Spain. The topic of this year School was "Sustainable Clothing: Production and Consumption".

The objectives of the seminar:

What is clothing that doesn't contradict the principles of sustainable development ( 'sustainable' clothes)? What are the requirements for the companies producing 'sustainable' clothes? Why we should be 'sustainable' clothes? How it is possible to achieve cultural change in consumption? Who are the key stakeholders? What is the primary creation when creating garments in the way of society to sustainable development? What alternative approaches should create a sustainable garment industry? What measures can be taken in this respect? Who are the stakeholders? What is their role in creating stability apparel industry? Current issues:

The seminar took place in several stages:

Results and effectiveness (upon arrival in the Republic of Belarus): - Implemented performance projects for the theme of the seminar; - Gained international experience on the subject studied; - Familiarized with the modern trends of development of science and technology; - Prepared materials for participation in scientific and practical activities in this thematic direction; - Held a series of meetings and workshops on the engineering faculty of BarSU.
