24/03/2010ALICE TOF General Meeting March  Serious incident Tuesday 16/3 at 03:55  Automatic refill (to compensate falling pressure) of UX mixed water circuit failed due to stuck water valve  Further drop in pressure stopped the pumps  Manual refill and restart by piquet in ~1.5 hrs  Failing valve exchanged later during the day From 27 th ALICE DCS Workshop, CERN 22 March 2010 (André Augustinus presentation):  Serious impact on ALICE equipment  Stop of SPD cooling plant (and power supplies), and later HMPID cooling plant  (Over-) heating of several power supplies  Lead to switch-off of many parts of the experiment  TOF lost 48V power supply when trying to repower them, might need to investigate with CAEN
