Mag Lev’s are already being used in Japan and Germany. A magnetic levitation train (or maglev) is a patented magnetic levitation system for high-speed rail. It travels at about 310 miles per hour.
It doesn’t use gas Less pollution No collisions on the tracks. Gets you places faster. Doesn’t need electricity either. Too expensive Magnetic field can be too powerful. A lot of work to build the maglev. Gives off radiation Can hurt heart and other organs.
1 st destination is 30 th street station, Philadelphia 2 nd destination is North Wales 3 rd destination is King of Prussia. 4 th destination is Limerick. 5 th destination is Cherry Hill.
The distance from 30 th street station to the first station (North Wales) is miles. From North Wales to King of Prussia is miles. Form King of Prussia to Limerick is 9.64 miles. Finally from Limerick to Cherry Hill is miles.
We chose North Wales because of the history, and the beauty of the landscape. Also because Merck is close and a lot of people work there, and because the North Penn school district is there. We chose King of Prussia because there is the K.O.P. mall there, and many people shop, and admire the businesses. The mall there is also very big! We chose limerick because of the Philadelphia outlets. Also, the Spring ford school district is there. We chose Cherry Hill because of Cherry Hill mall and the their public schools, and businesses. We chose the 30 th street station because of the colleges and businesses such as the Drexel university, and Ben and Jerry’s! One of the main tourists attractions is the liberty bell, which is close by.
