Search Engines Google Yahoo Bing

When searching Use between 4-8 keywords When entering a phrase place it in quotation marks  “Robotic Arm”

Searching a Website or Document Use the find feature Hit the "Ctrl" key (lower left area of your keyboard) AND the letter "F" key at the same time (simultaneously)  A little pop-up window will appear. Click on the "Find Next" button once or twice: your computer will automatically locate and highlight the word you are looking

Sources/References If working on a research assignment  Depending on the teachers request you may need to have a source or reference page  If so keep track of all the websites you use  As soon as you a source that is useable  Copy and Paste the web-address into another document

Sources/References Note the  Author  Year  Title of the webpage/document  Retrieved from URL (website address)  Example  R. Dalton. (2015). How to source a website. Retrieved from t_tips.ppt t_tips.ppt
