NASRO Management Symposium Copyright Sample SRO Orientation Program Statement It is the mission and purpose of the Sample Police/Sheriff’s Department to provide high quality, professional and efficient law enforcement services to the school district of Sample jurisdiction. In order to uphold the values incorporated within our department’s mission statement, the Sample Police/Sheriff’s Department mandates the highest level of performance and professionalism of its School Resource Officers. The SRO Orientation program is designed to provide holistic training and performance evaluation markers to new SROs. Through ongoing training and evaluation, the professional requirements of new SROs can be provided systemically. All units and components of the Sample Police/Sheriff’s Department are committed to the SRO Orientation Program. The development of a properly trained School Resource Officer is a necessary component necessary for the attainment of our Department/Office’s goals. Keeping that in mind, all members of the department/Office are encouraged to assist in the operational and training aspects of this exciting program.
