Main aspects of OSW in Poland Only allowed in EEZ – outside 12 Nm zone. Three step procedure (spatially wise): – Location permit – granted by minister responsible for maritime affaires (at the moment Minister of Transport, Construction and Maritime Economy) with opinion expression from ministers responsible for defence, internal affaires, cultural heritage, fishery, environment and economy. Possibility to apply for the same area with „contest-like” solution. – EIA procedure – led by Regional Environment Protection Authorities with public consultation process – Construction permit – granted by regional office of government. Other permits required: – Grid connection conditions and agreement – Green certificate concession Incentives – to be implemented until the end of year – so far proposal only – prepared by Ministry of Economy – for OSW +550 PLN/MWh to the market price 4POWER Kick-Off Meeting, Rostock, 31 st of May 2012
