What are plants basic needs? Water Air (Carbon Dioxide) 3) Nutrients (minerals) 4) Light (energy)

How do plants make food? PHOTOSYTHESIS!

How can plants adapt to their environments? Cactus live in dry environments: Roots: Shallow to quickly soak up rain. Stems: thick to store water Needles: to protect against thirsty animals

Water Lillies live in water! Roots: Anchor plants to river or pond floor Stems: long to reach from river bottom
