Providence House What is it? Click the banner for website "We take responsibility for children who have no one else to do it... the responsibility of providing a temporary home, food, clothing and most of all - loving care." –A Providence House Staff Member Providence House, Inc., Ohio’s first and only 26-bed residential Crisis Nursery They offer a round-the-clock residential crisis intervention program that provides an immediate placement solution for babies and children from newborn through age 5 in at-risk situations where they are in imminent danger of abuse or neglect.

Why do we do it? These are very young kids who have been displaced from their homes, often with literally nothing. One in three is homeless. One in five has a parent with a serious medical or mental illness. One in five newborns is born to mothers who are unable to care for them. One in eight is a victim of or witness to domestic violence.

By helping Providence House… Mayfield students can show these kids and families that there is hope, and that people care. We can make sure they get enough to eat– and gifts to enjoy.

Spirit Week! Spread the word! Monday: PJ Tuesday: Old and New Wednesday: Role Reversal Thursday: Boys v. Girls Friday: Celebrate PINK Talk it up to support Providence House! A king and queen each day!

In conclusion… Listen for announcements Next meeting 11/19 after school Stick around to sign up for opportunities Keep doing what you do
