Robert Dinwiddie

A city or town where the government of a state or nation meets

First college in Virginia. Founded in 1693 and named after King William and Queen Mary of England

College of William and Mary

Independent city between the James and York Rivers. It was the capital of the Virginia colony from 1699 to 1780.

Fee citizens pay to support the cost of government
