Describe the environment(location, setting) where you usually complete your work. What is your process once you are in your environment for completing an assignment/studying?

Based on your descriptions, what are the distractors of your environment and process, that affect your focus and work ethic?

Growth Mindset Belief that a person’s most basic abilities can be developed through dedication and hard work. Brains and talent are just a starting point.

Resiliency The ability to recover from or adjust to misfortune, adversity, or change. No matter the effort or perceived difficulty of an obstacle, there is the determination to persevere.

Open-mindedness Receptiveness to new ideas. The way in which people approach the views and knowledge of others. Incorporate the beliefs that others should be free to express their views and the value of others’ should be recognized.

Teamwork Cooperative or coordinated effort on the part of a group of persons acting together as a team or in the interests of a common cause. The combined action of a group of people

Reflection Turning experience into learning. Deep introspection. The examination or observation of one’s own emotional processes. (self-analysis)

“IMAGINE A FUNNY TITLE” GOALS Directions: In thoughtful complete sentences, answer the following. 1. How has your strength benefited you in your life? (academically, athletically, personally, professionally, etc.) 2. Which two life skills do you feel you struggle with the most and why? 3. How will you actively integrate these life skills into your life? (academically, athletically, personally, professionally, etc.) 4. Create a specific, measurable goal that will enable you to be more successful this quarter. We will be revisiting and reflecting further on this goal.
