Introduction “Not a realistic goal for a negro”, said Malcolm X’s Teacher. He said this when Malcolm said he wanted to be a lawyer. But that was only one of the racist things he had to overcome. This is one example of an obstacle he had growing up.

Early life  His House was burnt down by white men.  His dad was run over by a train because white men pushed him.  His Mom had a mental break down.  He dropped out of middle school

Obstacles  His house was burnt down by white men.  His dad was killed by white men.  He went to jail for 8 years.

Accomplishments  He made the boys and girls club.  He became a preacher after many arrests.  He overcame racism.  He helped fight segregation in the 60’s.

Present Day  Malcolm X is now dead.  He died at age 39.  He was killed by Talmadge Hayer, Norman Butler, and Thomas Johnson  He was shot with A shotgun and then with other guns.  He was declared dead at 3:30 pm  He 29 gun wounds, 10 from the shotgun blast

Conclusion  Without Malcolm X I might have not had the same friends because of their race. Muslims would’ve had one less preacher. And for those reasons Malcolm X will always be remembered today.
