“37: If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord. 38: But if any man be ignorant, let him be ignorant” (I Cor. 14).

This is always a test. Whoever insists that he has the spirit, and sets aside the New Testament commands is self-convicted. 38. If any man be ignorant. Some even today reject the Apostle Paul’s writings. Even during the age of prophets, one had to acknowledge the authority of Paul’s teaching.
