1 Quality Control (QC) For your Hazard Analysis Process, Establish a QC process to verify: Hazard Categories and Aspects correct? # of hazards = # of controls? Procedure written in “clear language”? Procedures integrated into training and communication? Controls result in risk reduction to a tolerable level?

2 Clear Language Don’t … Put your hand in there … grab the rod … touch the wires Do maintain all guards in place Stabilize the rod with remote supports If wires are exposed, shut down the machine and call maintenance for repair
