Introduction There are many great memorials to the Armenian Genocide. Some of these memorials include the War Memorial, Fountain Memorial, and the Memorial Khachkar.
War Memorial in Aparan, Armenia The War Memorial in Aparan, Armenia is a Monumental sculpture. It is not in very good condition. The inscription on it is “1915 to the victums of the Genocide and 1918 to the Heroes of the Aparan Battles. The memorial was completed in the 1950’s or 1960’s
Fountain- Memorial, Aintab, Armenia This memorial is a Monumental Sculpture, and a Commemorative Plaque. It is very well preserved. The construction began on March 2001, and ended on October The Memorial opened on November 2001.
Memorial Khachkar This memorial is a monumental sculpture, and an inscription. It is very well preserved. Construction began in 1965, and ended in The monument consists of four cross- stones flanked by an eagle.
Conclusion As you can see, there are many great memorials in and outside of Armenia dedicated to the Armenian Genocide. The Memorial Khachkar, the War Memorial, and the Fountain Memorial are just three great of the great memorials.
Personal Reflection I really liked doing this topic, because I liked being able to see all the memorials and really realize how much people actually cared about the Armenian Genocide.
