At CASA, we believe in the power of an affordable apartment to transform lives. We encourage the sense of hope that tomorrow will be better than today.

CASA builds and manages: Homes for more than 350 Triangle residents living with disabilities. Effective, permanent housing for our most vulnerable neighbors.

The need In the Triangle, an estimated 2,000 individuals are homeless on any given night. In 2014, more than 230 were veterans. In America, between 130,000 and 200,000 veterans are homeless on any given night—representing between one fourth and one-fifth of all homeless people.

Construction funders: City of Durham NC Housing Finance Agency US Dept. of HUD The Home Depot Foundation Community donors gave $30,000 in 2014 The Denson Apts. for Veterans, Durham CASA has identified 97% of funding for Phase 2, currently under construction. $12,400 more is needed to fully fund construction.
