San Luis and Loma De La Cruz Colonia Center nutrition & exercise workshops with adults and youth Celebrating October Bullying awareness and prevention month with approximately 260 students from Sam Houston Elementary and Our Lady of Refuge Church Youth Group Maverick County FCS Highlights

Celebrating Border Binational Health week with Eagle Pass, Piedras Negras and Kickapoo Nation at the inaguration celebration Ciclovia. Approximately 150 at the inaguration celebration, including Maverick County Judge, David Saucedo, City Mayor, Ramsey Cantu and Pct. 1 Commissioner, Jerry Morales. Celebrating Red Ribbon week at Eagle Pass High School and CC Winn High School with Sean Carter and his month Jenny Carter, as they deliver a power presentation about the dangers of drinking and driving. Over 1500 students and school district faculty and administrators and community agency representatives attended the presentations.

From the Class Room to the Real World, program is being conducted at Memorial Junior High with CATE 8 th grade classes and with Eagle Pass High School CATE classes, as well as with Eagle Pass ISD pregnant teens and teen parents. Approximately 175 students are participating in this 6 lesson financial literacy program
