 All 7 th graders will be required to take each of the following classes, either Regular or Pre-AP: Language arts Math Science Social Studies

All 7 th graders will choose two (2) electives and one (1) alternate from the following options: Band (must also be taken in 6 th grade) Choir Art Business Tech (can only be taken one time as a middle school student) P.E. and Sport Performance

7 th graders are enrolled at Houston, Highland, or Heizer Middle Schools based on the information in the computer system at their elementary schools. We ask all parents/guardians to verify and/or update address information with their students’ elementary schools to insure that they receive their schedules.

The students will be receiving a schedule by mail prior to the beginning of the 2013 school year in August.

If a student does NOT live in the school district they wish to attend, an out- of-zone form must be filled out and completed online, beginning April 1, This form is available on the Hobbs Schools website

If a student receives a schedule from the wrong middle school, two (2) proofs of address must be provided to the office of the school from which the schedule was received.
