Age adolescence understand hypothetical situations. Dr. Elkind says this leads to trouble, including: Finding fault with authority figures, argumentativeness, indecisiveness, apparent hypocrisy, self-consciousness, invulnerability.
“who am I?” Completely normal “crisis” Part of growing up and realizing you have to make decisions/choices that will affect your future. The future is no longer a hypothetical situation.
You can’t just learn about a teenage based on them. You have to understand that relationships and other people contribute to how they think/feel.
