The Soybean Checkoff 0.5% of the soybean market price per bushel when farmer sells soybeans 50% retained and utilized by the states where collected, 50% sent to the United Soybean Board

United Soybean Board USB Invests those checkoff dollars: Production Research Domestic Market Development International Market Development Industrial Product Development Communications

Soybeans Harvested (75.9 million acres) Crushed: – 80% Meal (protein - 97% used for livestock feed) – 20% Oil (70% used for Human consumption: salad dressing, cooking, baking & frying oil, margarine, etc.) – Approx. 30% of the oil used for industrial uses such as biodiesel, plastics, solvents, Paints & coatings, etc.)
