C A L I F O R N I A E N E R G Y C O M M I S S I O N The Alternative and Renewable Fuel and Vehicle Technology Program (ARFVTP)  Created by AB 118 and extended by AB 8 through January 1,  ARFVTP provides funds of $100 million per year, allocated via an annual Investment Plan  Projects funded that will “transform California’s fuel and vehicle types to help attain the state’s climate change policies”.  Projects should “develop and deploy technology and alternative and renewable fuels in the marketplace without adopting any one preferred fuel or technology. 3
