What did the upper and lower classes eat?

 bread porridge

 meat

 cheese

 Only ½ pound of food a day (ate) for the lower class.  At certain times eating meat was banned because of religious matter.  Meat was banned during Lent and Advent.  Lack of vitamin C and calcium.  Less time for eating for lower class.  Lower and higher classes were treated both very different.  Vegetables and fresh fruit were eaten by the poor as well for stew.

 Meat was a sign of the upper class because meat was for the rich more than poor.

 You will purchase foods in small villages  You can you can buy fish and dairy in the city.  There are many different ways in buying food trading and money.
