Inland Protection Working Group  is concerned for the protection of refugee claimants in Canada or seeking to come to Canada.  Key campaigns – Monitoring Canada’s refugee protection system – Detention issues and alternatives to detention – Forms of vulnerable status  Other issues Francisco Rico Martinez and Chantal Tie are the co-chairs of the Inland Protection Working Group Look for them if you have questions! Immigration and Settlement Working Group  looks at all issues relating to refugee and immigrant settlement in Canada  Key campaigns – Access to services – Family reunification – Migrant workers – Youth issues – Violence against newcomer women Yasmine Dossal and Sherman Chan are the co-chairs of the Immigration and Settlement Working Group Say hello and share your ideas with them. Taking Photos – Making Videos  NOT permitted during CCR sessions (workshops, plenary sessions, working group meetings) except for people acting for the CCR or for a purpose specifically approved by the CCR in advance (these people will be wearing badges).  Allowed outside the CCR sessions (in the coffee area or lobbies, or before or after sessions) ONLY after explaining the purpose and getting the permission of each person photographed, filmed or recorded.
