Circle Of Courage

How does belonging make us feel? How is generosity encouraged? How is independence cultivated? How is independence cultivated? How is mastery accomplished?

Belonging

Within the value of belonging, we learn to become a respectful part of a group. Belonging is demonstrated by being: friendly caring, feeling loved and cared for, feeling loved and cared for, feeling like you are a valued part of a group. Having an emotional connection to people Having an emotional connection to people

In order to have a complete circle it is important to feel like we belong. How do you belong? How can you help to make yourself and others feel like they belong? Write an example of a time you felt like you belonged in your classroom.

Mastery

Mastery-Within the value of mastery, we learn how to achieve our goals Mastery is demonstrated by being: Creative, persistent, competent, self-motivated, a problem solver, and accepting of challenges

In just a short time in life we will all have mastered a number of things What is something that you have mastered? In order to have a complete circle it is important that we continue to work on mastering something What is something you are working on mastering right now?

Generosity

The Spirit of Generosity Within the value of generosity we learn to contribute positively to others. Generosity is demonstrated by being: Caring, helpful, supportive, and compassionate to others.

Independence

Within the value of independence, We learn how to demonstrate personal responsibility Independence is demonstrated by: Being assertive, confident, showing leadership, empowering, demonstrating self-control, being a problem solver, demonstrating self- discipline, making decisions, setting goals, owning your successes and failure.
