 How can you eliminate these distractions? › Turn off electronics › Classical rather than pop music › Disable internet  MACs - Freedom › Isolate yourself

 How much will you read? › 3 chapters or 1/3 of a chapter?  How long can you stay focused? › 30 minutes or 2 hours?  How long do you have to complete this reading assignment? › 1 night or 1 week?

 Create an outline › Headings  Identify vocabulary before reading
